Clark County Social Services

The CARES Housing Assistance Program provides rent, mortgage and utilities assistance to Clark County residents who have suffered financial hardship due to COVID-19. Applicants must meet a certain income level based on their household size, provide documented proof of their financial hardship due to COVID-19, and be Clark County residents. Recipients of housing vouchers such as Section 8 are not eligible for CHAP assistance.

Renewing Life Center

The Renewing Life Center is a non-profit Christian counseling center. Founded in 2005, they have been serving Southern Nevada for over 15 years. Their multi-disciplinary team includes Licensed Psychologists, Pastoral Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors and Interns.

They offer individual, couples, and family counseling, EMDR and spiritual direction. Their counselors have training in treating relational difficulties, addictions, depression, anxiety, grief, spiritual issues and trauma.
