We are so excited that you are interested in joining the Prayer Team. Orientation will provide an introduction to our Prayer Ministry culture here at Church LV. We will review the power of prayer based on God’s word as well as help you increase your confidence in praying for yourself and others. All new members of the church must attend Belong prior to attending Prayer Team Orientation.
Please note that this is NOT a class intended to teach believers how to pray. This class is the first step to being a member of the prayer team.
In this class we cover:
- The definition of prayer
- Church LV’s prayer culture
- Overcoming hindrances to prayer
- The common areas of life where people seek prayer
- Scheduling
- Expectations as a member of the prayer team
- Do’s and Don’ts
- Facilitating the presence of the Holy Spirit
- We will determine what your next best step is concerning the prayer team.
